New Richmond sits in St. Croix County, about 30 miles east of St. Paul. Most of its homes were built after 1970, so many bathrooms still have original tubs and builder-grade fiberglass surrounds. Our bathroom remodeling and tub-to-shower conversions are built around that housing stock.

Many New Richmond homes were built between 1970 and 1999, so the bathrooms often have tub surrounds and framing that were never designed for a curbless shower. We check the subfloor, wall studs, and drain location before quoting a tub-to-shower conversion.
Older homes in town, including those built before 1940, can have plaster walls and uneven floors. Our wet area remodeling starts with a moisture and level check so the new shower pan and waterproofing are installed on sound framing.
For homeowners planning to stay in place, we also handle grab bar installation and accessibility assessments. These fit well in the wider bathrooms common in the 1970s and 1980s ranch and split-level homes around town.
