Most Minneapolis single-family homes were built between 1900 and 1940, so many bathrooms have original cast iron tubs and galvanized supply lines. Our bathroom work in the city starts with checking older plumbing and tight wall cavities before any tub or shower is replaced.

Emergency response available 24/7
Many Minneapolis homes from the 1920s and 1930s have narrow bathrooms with plaster walls and limited floor joist access. Before we convert a tub to a shower, we plan the drain location, the new framing, and the waterproofing for a room that was never built for a curbless shower.
South Minneapolis and Northeast homes often sit on limestone block foundations and carry galvanized supply plumbing. Our plumbing fixture installation and faucet replacement work includes checking those supply lines, so new fixtures are not connected to corroded pipe.
Accessibility Assessment and grab bar installation are common requests in these homes, where doorways and tub edges were built for a different era. We measure clearances first so accessible changes fit the existing room.
